Gift From Grandma

We are so blessed to have another little girl join our family. We are finally getting settled at home and adjusting to life as a family of four. Evelyn has embraced her roll as Big Sister (so far) and mom and dad are adjusting to a little less sleep!

Day At The Zoo

A beautiful Friday here in the city. We headed with our play group over to the zoo this morning to enjoy the weather. There was a high school marching band practicing for the crowd and the kids were in heaven! Evelyn and her friend Taylor were front and center dancing and clapping. They made friends quick. Here they are with some of the band.

And of course, we made a stop by the Polar Bears.

I Do Not Have Words...

Evelyn found the Dora undies that Grammy sent for Easter. She demanded all clothes off and the undies on. Well, of course I negotiated the diaper stay on, but then all three pairs of underwear went over the diaper. From there she added the rain boots. It was hilarious.

Happy Easter

We spent Easter with the Walker's while we stay close waiting for the new baby to arrive. We had a wonderful Easter brunch followed by the girls first Easter Egg hunt. They really enjoyed it!

Big Girl

We had Evelyn's 2 year old check up tonight.

She is a BIG girl! 39" and 30 lbs.

I guess 39" is an average 4 year old..... no wonder it's so hard to find pants that are long enough.

Surprise Celebration

A few of us moms pulled an April fools surprise on our friend Marcia for her Birthday. She thought she was going to another kids "book" party, but we were all waiting to toast the Birthday girl and have a nice, moms only, night together.
