Evelyn's EL Trip Around The Loop
What a way to spend a rainy day....
We enjoyed a nice train ride around the loop with a stop at the Merchandise Mart McDonald's for lunch. Great way for Ev to see the city - and for mom to kill a few hours when we are trapped inside!
As you can see from the photo below - Evelyn was decked out in her new Paul Frank rain wear. She just loved walking with an umbrella!

Growing Up
Evelyn made the move to a big girl bed. She has been doing great!

Iowa State Fair
We had a great time again this year at the Iowa State Fair. Friday night the adults headed to East Side Night to reunite with old pals. Then Matt and I took the girls to enjoy the animals, food and rides.
Tuesday, August 11
Back To Des Moines
We spent a week back in Des Moines this August to visit friends and family - and of course, hit the Iowa State Fair! We had fun swimming, shopping and riding around on Evelyn's new John Deer Tractor (and Kate tried taking it for a spin too).

Lake Carroll
We went to Lake Carroll with the Fitzpatrick's for some much needed R & R. Mimi and Kate were great babies and Evelyn and Fiona had lot's of fun swimming and fishing off the dock.

Can't Get Enough
Another Sunday night down at Millennium Park. This time the Evanston Mulvihill's joined us. Great night! Evelyn and Brigid had a blast in the fountain!
