Not bad for a girl in a cast. Evelyn has been doing pretty good in the pool turning over to her back and then kicking around. Now if I could only get her water wings off.
Swim lessons are in her future.

Erin, Kendall and Cole visit!
Erin, Kendall and Cole Schindler came to visit us for a few days. We had so much fun swimming, playing and of course we got a little mom night out too curtesy of the babysitter!
Kendall and Evelyn had a great time together and Evelyn and Cole were buddies.
We miss them already.

Enjoying The Weekends In Elmhurst
One of the great things about the suburbs is the space.... space you can fill with all sorts of junk. So, we added to the pile of "stuff" and bought a bike trailer for the girls. It has been a lot of fun and we have been trying to ride any where we can locally.

Happy 4th of July!
We had a low key 4th of July in Elmhurst. We went swimming with the Evanston Mulvihill's one day and Uncle Brad came over for the 4th BBQ and fire works!

A Stylish Pink Cast
Evelyn broke her arm riding on a skateboard at the neighbors house.
I'm pretty sure this type of injury would not have happened in the city... there are not a lot of skateboarding on North Ave!
She was devastated after we left the ER, but after she got to pick a pink cast at the Ortho office, she sort of thought it was cool.
A short cast will replace this one in two weeks. She only has to have it on a total of 4 weeks AND it is waterproof. Looks like we will not skip a beat this summer!
